Essex Steam Train’s North Pole Express chugs through Connecticut’s winter countryside with Santa Claus, Fridays through Sundays November 27 through December 27, 2009.

The ride is one hour long with departures each day at 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

The North Pole Express is a popular nighttime steam train ride with live readings of Christmas stories, hot chocolate and cookies, sing-alongs, and holiday surprises. Special guest Santa Claus has a treat for all children, and you’re guaranteed lots of fun and lots of extras.

Tickets are sold at the Essex Train Station in Essex, Connecticut, and are $25.
